Book reading by Augusten Burroughs
The June 22 book reading at Robison Service went very well, despite pouring rain. Upwards of 150 people attended the event, which ran from noon till 4pm on Sunday. My brother read from Sellevision, Running With Scissors, and Dry. He then answered questions from the audience. My brother’s agent drove from New York to attend the reading. Greer, my brother’s partner in advertising (written about in Dry) made a surprise appearance as well. Our father and stepmother appeared also attended.

We kept the kids entertained with a bounce room, and catering was provided by Pompeii.

The event was described in the Monday issues of the Springfield Republican and the Hampshire Gazette.
