To purchase an EasyCare contract
EasyCare requires us to verify that your vehicle is free of pre-existing problems and serviced properly before writing a contract. Listed below are a list of things we do to certify your car.THINGS WE DO TO CERTIFY YOUR CAR:
We run a CarFax check. Cars with title problems (recovered theft, salvage, flood, etc) are not eligible for EasyCare contracts. We obtain the date your vehicle was originally put into service, and we make sure the warranty status is normal. Cars with voided warranties (total loss, odometer discrepancy, etc.) are not eligible for EasyCare contracts. We will make sure all recalls and campaigns are up-to-date.
Our ASE certified technicians will inspect your car in our shop. We make sure all scheduled maintenance is up-to-date (bring your records if possible). We check for damage and verify that all systems on the car are working properly, and we identify any problems. If we find any problems our trained technicians will review them with you, so we'll both understand what's going on with your car.
Any problems found must be corrected before we can write a contract. In many cases, our service department can help with this. If your vehicle is under new car warranty we will assist you in having the nearest dealer perform any needed warranty or update work.
JE Robison Service charges $25 for the CarFax and manufacturer checks, and $100 for the certification inspection, whether or not you purchase a contract. If your car fails the CarFax or manufacturer checks you will be charged the $25, but we will not perform and you will not be charged for the $100 certification inspection. Any needed repairs are at extra cost.
